It is well known the fact that the training system in Romania is appreciated in the whole world because of the large number of valuable human resources which were formed here and employed within multinational companies in Europe and all over the World. For example, the large number of Romanian employees at the Microsoft Corporation which graduated Informatics Universities in Romania, the large number of Romanian nurses and doctors employed at European and macro level, and the examples can continue.
Non-qualified Romanian workforce is also needed on the Labour Market at European and global level. The main reason for this phenomenon is the high level of education but also the quality of the work and the rentable Romanian workforce. Romanian people are motivated and inventive at their work place and also very well trained.
Alba Iulia Municipality hosts a large number of educational institutions, high schools with a high level of education, national and private Universities, and local private training centers like NGO’s. There is an important variety of professional high schools and colleges in Alba Iulia in economic field, plastic arts and music, military and pedagogic field, but also science and mathematics. Among the universities of Alba Iulia Municipality, a well appreciated University at international scale represents the “1 December 1918 University” whose training programs cover a large variety of professional domains like: Informatics, Accountability, History, Sociology, European Affairs, European Funds, Archaeology, Foreign Languages and literature etc.
For the past years, the University of Alba Iulia invested considerable efforts in intensifying international cooperation in order to improve the education system.
